So I got my hands on Firefox 3.5 and decided to test it against Safari 4. Mozilla says its the FASTEST version ever and will make my sites look “snappier”. I’ve used Safari ever since I compared FF and S4 last time and I haven’t really looked back. Here are the tests on the two browsers.
Again, Safari 4 wins this again at almost 3 times the score (3025 to 1340) of the new Firefox 3.5 release.
Ok… so I have been using Safari4 beta and Firefox now for some time jumping back and forth trying to decide which one to use. Yesterday (June 8th) Safari4 left beta and became an official release…. funny…. shortly after Mozilla released Firefox 3.5b99. Apple claims that its 3 times faster than Firefox and IE8 (i dont give a shit about IE ), so which one is faster? I used Futuremarks Peacekeepers browser benchmark. Check this out.

As you can see, Safari4 clearly wooped Firefox’s ass. So far with just this test, Apple’s Safari4 really does outperform the competitors. Looks like I’ll be using a new browser.

The Pittsburgh Penguins vs the Detroit RedWings (sounds like a feminine hygiene product, doesnt it?) will square off in Detroit to battle for the Stanley Cup. My predictions, Pens in 7.
It’ll be so nice to see Detroit get spanked and that guy with a girls name, Marian Hossa, who originally left the Pens to go with Detroit for a shot at the cup get destroyed. Fuck Detroit and fuck Hossa.

I stumbled upon this cool search engine called SearchCube. It’s allows 3-D searching using Google as the actual engine.
